Approximately 1000 responses from young people in over 60 countries were collected.  Key takeaways from the data include:

  • Respondents were aware of climate change,
  • The uncertainty of climate change weighed on their mental health
  • Education on climate change varies greatly, even within countries
  • Impacts of climate change disasters were widely experienced
  • Little is available in the way of resources to help with mental health issues associated with climate change

With the ongoing and worsening impact of climate change across countries, this survey highlights the need for education and resources to help with young people deal with a future of climate uncertainty.
